Beijing Auto Show: Debut Flagship Hongqi sedan L7 and H7 as FAW Re-Launch Brand |
At Auto China 2012 in Beijing, Hongqi presented two new models, L7 flagship showcar and production-ready sedan H7, while the parent company First Automobile Works (FAW) held a five-year plan for a brand new investment.
The most impressive model in the stand Hongqi is L7, a throwback to the days of winter when the company producing limousines China.

Other models Hongqi H7 is a full-size luxury sedan that is based on the running gear of the Chinese market Toyota Crown. Hongqi Hongqi H7 is described as an answer to the long-wheelbase versions of BMW 5-Series, Audi A6 and Mercedes-Benz E-Class and is said to be offered with a 2.0-liter turbocharged, four straight two V6 engines, and perhaps a PHEV (plug-in vehicles electric hybrid).
At the Beijing exhibition, FAW also announced plans to invest 10.5 billion yuan (U.S. $ 1.67 billion) in the next five years to reshape Hongqi and develop a new line of four models including two SUVs.
