JAKARTA - Indonesia BMW Group Communications Director, Helena Abidin confirmed that BMW is ready responsible for any other component of the MINI Cooper is problematic.
"A total of 37 units MINI delivered to customers is not included because the recalled products manufactured after January 2011," said Helena on Friday.
Helena said that BMW is ready to replace certain parts when the MINI Convertible has received the customer is not running optimally.
Until late 2011, BMW Indonesia, through its dealer PT Maxindo, MINI has sold 37 units in Indonesia.
"In early 2012, more than 100 units will go to Indonesia," said Helena.
Earlier, the German car manufacturer BMW has attracted about 235,000 MINI cars worldwide because of faults in electric water pump that cools the "turbocharger".
Problems with the pumps were at risk of fire, while the withdrawal of covers vehicles built between March 2006 and January 2011.
